A boy in Xel’s orphanage suddenly became severely ill. Unable to walk, unable to talk properly, and vomiting all the time, despite having nothing left in the stomach, not even water. Nobody knew what kind of illness that was. It was not a normal sickness like fever or cold. Shivering, as if he was outside on a winter night with little clothing. That little boy, his pain was almost unbearable to him. And at the same time, he looked so weak as if he could die anytime.

Chapter 46: Execution

Lin and Kelf decided to stop at a nearby village for a rest. Now that they had some money, they could search for what they had wanted without many worries, at least for the moment. Lasting a bit longer became the least of their problems. When they arrived there was a large commotion. Kelf ignored it and continued to walk on, but Lin dragged him to the crowd.

After that Melissa stood up and walked towards the door. A few more streams of blood appeared from behind her back and wrapped around the bodies and the heads, and she dragged the bodies towards the door to the outside with her. She was shaking from head to toe due to her injuries and from the weight of the clumps of bones and flesh she was dragging.
