What On Earth Are You Doing?

i once read a Bible study material during my quiet time, and the author posed the situation of Jesus asking us what on earth are we doing. as christians, we all know that everything we have is given to us by God. of course we work hard for the money in our bank, we work hard to maintain the relationship we have. but, if we are born in a war-torn country, would we have all this?
every christian knows that we have a mission or purpose in our life, and that we are to use the resources given to us to complete it, with the help of God of course. but many times we find ourselves side-tracking to other things which are more important. i admit myself that i spend alot of time on computer games, or maybe manga (japanese comics) and anime. and what would i answer if Jesus asked me the question? how would i answer Him? there are many of us here unsure of our own purpose in life. study, work, grow old get married have kids then get sick and die. meaningless life.
but if we use our life for the work of God, who knows? maybe because of us staying true to our purpose we might have helped save someone dear to us from going down to hell. conclusion: to those who know what is their purpose, stay true to your path. nobody said we cannot play games or relax a little, but going too far out is definately not good. to those who don't know their purpose, maybe you should try and communicate more with God, i'm sure when the time is ripe He will tell you. and when that time comes, i hope you will be able to complete it. i have found my purpose too, and is trying to complete it. over the course of our life, we may have many different missions, and i'm trying to finish the one i have at hand now.
