one of the things most girls do is to go on a diet. i will knock the head of the person who ask me why. hahax.

ok, next, we all know out of the girls who go on a diet, most of them fail. why? to the other girls, if you want to know why, i think i have found the secret. that is because during dieting, one thought always come to the mind. 'i must not eat. i must not eat.' and the like. it is proven that the more you think about a certain thing, the greater the desire to have it. even in your own resistance to try not to eat, you are still thinking about eating. the thought of (not) eating is being repeated over and over in your head, and thus your desire is manifested and magnified. in the end, you give in. what should girls who failed dieting do? don't even think about eating or resisting about eating. let your thoughts go elsewhere, anything else except eating. sports, work, games, study, tv, makeup, boyfriend, whatever. that way, you will force yourself to get distracted, and you won't think about it anymore. i am writing this, not because i encourage dieting, but because i know you all will not listen to me if i tell you to run 5 miles instead of dieting.

moral of the story? not yet! the same goes for other sins in life. we know it is wrong. and we know we still sin. maybe because we are thinking too much about resisting. the thought then flame up our desires. guys, i know most guys have a problem with lust. oh well, sex. a non-christian friend taught me a biblical knowledge and application which i never knew. she said that guys cannot resist sex. and she said God knows that the guys cannot resist it, because they are made that way. then she said thats why God asked them to 'FLEE' from temptation. reason? if you flee, you won't think about it. even if you do, you can't do anything about it. you don't go back to a girl and ask her for sex after you run away on the first round, right? Joseph fled when he was tempted too. He did not stay back and resist. he fled. other sins too. we got to flee from it and distract ourselves with other things. don't just say, 'i must not do xxx. i must not do xxx.' don't even think about it. ask God for help. He will not give you a temptation knowing you definately have no escape route.
