Brood War No More

i know this is late, but only till today did i realize that starcraft: brood war will no longer be part of the world cyber games this year. yes this is late news and i only just realized it.

and then the memories of trying to find out when is the wcg preliminaries and not finding any flooded back. there wasn't any to begin with!

the desperate hopes dreams to see yet another epic and cliche jaedong vs flash in the finals and probably bisu or fantasy or maybe jangbi trashing and owning the guy in the 3rd/4th place match was definitely crushed without mercy. although i would prefer tossgirl to be the one doing the thrashing in the 3rd/4th match but haha that is like asking for the moon mars.

honestly speaking, giving up brood war for starcraft ii when there is still such a large fanbase for brood war? i guess the koreans are winning too many gold medals (they have been taking all the gold medals since the introduction of brood war in wcg though. it was always the koreans) and now they are trying to tilt the balance back to normal?

well i did not chase much about the starcraft ii pro-gaming scene, so i know literally nothing about that. but still, i will watch it during the cyber games this year end, and hopefully boxer or maybe nada will own the rest. haha.

i need my brood war matches!! there are no leagues or competitions going on now so this is a boring time with no entertainment! noooo!!
