This week I bought some shares of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) for the family investment. I do not know much about oil, neither have I been following closely. Previously I bought some shares of Sinopec, and I felt it was enough. However, this round it was my wife who did her research and was very interested in CNOOC. Hence, I trusted her homework and her judgment and went into CNOOC.
Separately, crypto currency has seen a pump up. The markets are getting excited. I have a batch of ETH with an average price of $2350 already in profit. At the time of writing, ETH is at $2493. I have set a sell order at $3333, which I may adjust, depending on the situation. DOT is still weak, and my current portfolio of DOT is still in the red.
