Portfolio 2025 - No More Fairytales

I had previously updated my portfolio by week as I played short term futures and forex. But later I stopped doing that as I realised such short term trading is not for me. Will admit it here, those short term gains were then wiped out later. This period was spent trying to adjust myself, find out what suits me and act accordingly. The short term trading was an experimental stage to find out if I am really suited for such market play, so it was not as if I played like WallStreetBets degenerates.

Those who followed my blog and social media may have realised that I switched to long term investing instead. This suits me as I am not quick nor sensitive enough to capture the short-term and frequent fluctuations, however I seem to be more adept at analysing the bigger picture. I am not cut out to earn big money, hence I will only do what I am suited for.

A significant portion of my portfolio will comprise of dividend stocks. They are safe and stable. Even if their share price do not go up too much, the dividends will be sufficient for me. Previously I did not want to disclose my portfolio, but now I have decided to open up with what I find comfortable with sharing. Obviously my stock portfolio is not the entirety of all my assets as I still want to retain some privacy.

What I will do from now on is to have 1 post per year, but I will keep on adding new updates and information at the top of this post with the date, so readers can see exactly when is the latest update and follow the changes will ease. Just check back any time on this post in the “Portfolio” category, which I had also linked it from my home page. My portfolio will mainly consist of long term investments which I will not touch easily, but I will also have just a few YOLO trades with lesser capital to capture short term fluctuations.

I have taken down all previous posts in the portfolio category, so for this new post in the resetted category, today I will just post my current stock and crypto portfolio. Feel free to leave comments for any questions or discussions.
